The Stockport Football is located in Stockport, Great Manchester, and is the best football team in all of England. The Stock team can trace its rich history back to 1883 when the current team had been known as the Heaton Norris Rovers. The team has all sorts of accomplisments that back up the claim that they are the best football in England.

Stockport Football club has a rich history of records and some of the best soccer players around. Since the football club was founded in 1883, a number of key players have emerged and made historical contributions to the football club, one such player is Alf Lythgoe who scored the most goals in a season. Martin Nash, a now retired football player, was a Stockport Count football player of note. He is Canadian and played with Stockport from 1996 until 1998. James Gannon, now 43, was elected as a member to the Hall of Fame during his tenur at Stockport. He played for the club for ten years from 1990 to 2000. He has gone on to manage teams.
